Self Service Point of Sale – GitHub
August 2024 – Senior Capstone Project at Florida Institute of Technology
- Programmed in C++ and interfaces with a secure SQL database that stores Products, Users, and System information, such as prices, barcodes, logins, and tax.
- Uses a customer-oriented Windows GUI that includes all necessary interfaces and functions to enter items, retrieve and write data to the relevant databases, calculate weight and taxes, and save the ending balance. All information is retrievable through the software.
- Includes password protected menus to remove items and set system parameters by admins.
